Dr David Winfield
Dr Winfield qualified from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 1996 and went on to serve as an Army doctor for 14 years. During this time, he looked after the health and wellbeing of service personnel in a wide range of environments — from barracks to deployment overseas — and completed his Diploma in Occupational Medicine.
After leaving the military in 2010, Dr Winfield joined Shirehampton Group Practice, where he continues to enjoy a varied mix of general practice and occupational health work. He has a particular interest in helping people stay healthy and safe in their working lives and has been carrying out regular occupational health assessments and medicals for many years.
Dr Winfield is also an MCA-approved doctor, providing ENG1 medicals for seafarers and others working at sea. He takes pride in offering a friendly, thorough, and practical approach to occupational health.
Dr Manon Younger
Dr Younger qualified from Cardiff University in 2001 and became a General Practitioner in 2007. She gained a diploma in Occupational Health Medicine in 2008, as well as becoming an appointed Offshore physician and approved asbestos and lead doctor for the HSE. In 2009 she gained her Hand Arm Vibration certificate and became an approved ENG1 doctor for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. She is also an Office of Rail and Road registered doctor.
Dr Manon Younger started working for Occupational Health Bristol in 2007 and is now clinical lead.
Dr Trevor Younger
Dr Trevor Younger qualified from the University of Bristol in 2001, then worked as a junior doctor in Bristol and subsequently Australia for a year. Dr Younger became a GP, initially in south Bristol and joined Shirehampton Group Practice in 2016.
He completed his training as an Occupational Health Doctor the following year.
He is a HSE Approved Doctor for Lead, Asbestos, Ionising Radiations and Hand Arm Vibrations medicals. He is also a Franchisee doctor performing medicals on behalf of the DVLA.
Dr Hannah Lee
Dr Hannah Lee studied at Edinburgh University receiving her MBChB in 2008. Since 2014 she has been working as a GP in Bristol and enjoys the variety of medical conditions that are seen in primary care.
In 2024 she completed the Diploma in Occupational Medicine with the Royal Society of Public Health. She is passionate about helping individuals maintain good physical and mental health and supporting people to stay in work. Currently, Dr Lee undertakes a variety of medicals including plant operative, overseas, and pre-employment medicals, as well as DVLA assessments, and Occupational Health assessments to assist employer and employee with health-related issues in the workplace.
Dr William Crane
Dr Crane has extensive experience in Occupational Health having undertaken the Diploma in Occupational Medicine and a Postgraduate Certificate in Occupational Medicine from Manchester.
University in 2016. He has undertaken a wide range of medicals including sickness absence medicals, fit to work medicals and industry-specific medicals. He is a HSE licensed approved doctor for Asbestos and undertakes Offshore Energies UK (OEUK, formerly Oil and Gas) medicals. From his broad range of experience as a GP Partner, he is passionate about improving workplace health and wellbeing through the work at Occupational Health Bristol.
